Meet Flower

Flower is scheduled for her spay on March 13 and will not be available for adoption outside of a 30-minute radius of Des Moines until after her spay. Flower came to Iowa from an Oklahoma shelter with her momma Zarah and 8 siblings when she was approximately 5 weeks old. She was assigned a birthdate of 11/23/24 since we don't have an exact date of birth. Flower is a possible Border Collie/Husky mix, and weighs just under 10 lbs. at 10 weeks old. Flower is a smart, playful, and natural-born leader with a beautiful black and white coat that gives her a skunk-like charm. She’s a petite little lady that has nearly mastered potty training and is comfortable with the crate at night. Her fun-loving personality shines through as she’s always up for playtime. This sweet girl is ready to bring fun and love to her forever home! She will likely do well with cats and kids with proper introductions and training. He will likely do well with cats and kids with proper, slow introductions. Flower needs an active family that can provide lots of play time and activities that stimulate her mentally. She will not be adopted to a family living in an apartment, condo, or townhouse due to her being vocal at times and needing a yard to play in. We are looking for a family that has experience owning active, vocal dogs and one that can keep up with a very active dog. Another active, social dog living in the home is also a plus. Adoption Process
We require an application be completed, do home visits and check references. Have meet and greets with children and other pets. We require animals be returned to us if circumstances change. We require a signed adoption contract. We do not allow our animals to be kept outdoors. $100 Senior Dog (9+ years old) $200 Adult Dog $225 Puppy $30 Senior Cat (10+ years old) $60 Adult Cat $100 Kitten (or 2 for $150) Purebred/Designer dog adoption fees will be determined on case by case basis dependent on finders fees, vetting costs and transporting fees. Each purebreds breed will determine baseline fee.
