Meet Jada

Jada is a nice mid-sized dog at 44 pounds, that is affectionate, playful, and also loves to sit quiet and cuddle.  She was originally found as a stray in Cedar Rapids and spent some time at the Cedar Rapids animal shelter.  As their shelter became full, Jada was transferred to Safe Haven and we are now part of her story as she looks for her forever home!   Jada is estimated to be between 3 and 4 years old, and she appears to possibly be an Australian Kelpie mix ......just check out those adorable ears!  One of Jada's favorite pastimes is playing fetch with a tennis ball. She also seems to know a few basic commands, and takes treats softly from your hand.  We are still getting to know Jada, but it seems like she is good with most other dog friendly dogs.  If you think Jada may be the perfect addition to your family, we will require a meet-n-greet with any current dog in your home and Jada.  This sweet dogs deserves to be the queen of her own castle and has so much unconditional love to offer some lucky family! Adoption Process
Adopters must fill out an application and be approved. Appointment is made to meet/pick up the pet. Adoption fee is returned if the adopter notifies us the adoption in not working and returns the pet within two weeks.
