Bonded pair Bobbie and Lucy are looking for their forever home where they can stay together! This dynamic duo has lots of love to bring to their new home, they are so friendly with everyone that they meet - and they seem to especially love children! Bobbie (lighter tan coat) and Lucy (red coat) are dog friendly, having lived with other dogs until the passing of their owner. Upon joining rescue, both dogs were brought current on all of their vaccines, Bobbie has had a dental and both dogs are now altered. Bobbie is around 9 years old, and Lucy around 10. These two are healthy, happy and ready to pitter patter and prance around your home and your heart! You'll love Bobbie's little toothy smile and seeing him carry soft toys around the house, and Lucy's adventurous and outgoing personality is sure to make you smile. A fenced in yard is preferred. The adoption fee for the pair of dogs is $400, which includes their vaccines and preventatives being current, each is micro chipped and invited to take part with their new owner in a basic training class at Cedar Run Company in Hiawatha. Last Hope requires that adopters have a history of having kept any previous animals altered, current on vaccines/preventatives and as indoor pets only. Please submit an adoption application for consideration online at Adopthope.org
Adoption Process
Prior to adoption, all of our dogs have been tested for heartworm, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, and spayed or neutered, if age appropriate. Our adoption process includes reference and background checks, a vet check and home visit.
The adoption fee for dogs and puppies varies.
Prior to adoption, our cats have been tested for feline leukemia, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, and spayed or neutered, if age appropriate. If at the time of adoption, the kitten is too young to be spayed or neutered, an agreed upon time frame will be set for when this procedure is to be done. Spaying or neutering is not an optional procedure, it is required of all animals we rescue.
The adoption fee for cats and kittens varies.
