Meet Mocha

We show our dogs by appointment only. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out our online adoption application at kcpaws.petfinder.com. Mocha's adoption fee will be $300. PLEASE READ BIO_ HAS SPECIAL NEEDS! Mocha is a three year old Pomeranian who was rescued from a life of living in a kennel as a commercial breeder.  Mocha is working on her social skills and is coming out of her shell more and more everyday, she seems to be her most confident self when she has another dog to play with so we would prefer her to go to a home with a canine companion.  Mocha is a flight risk and will squeeze through any gaps in a fence if there are any so she will need a home where there is a very securely fenced back yard and ideally should be supervised when outside. She will need to always be on leash if she is in an unfenced area. Mocha may not be the best fit for an apartment as she tends to bark when left alone. Mocha is a long haired breed that will require frequent grooming.  Mocha like many small dogs, she does have luxating patella (bad knees) and will likely need surgery as she ages, her adopters will need to be financially capable of caring for her joint needs and potential operations.
