Meet Rani and Rajah
We show our dogs by appointment only. If you are interested in Rani and Rajah, please fill out our online application at kcpaws.org. Rani and Rajah are a bonded pair and we will only consider applications for them as a pair. Their joint adoption fee is $400. Meet Rani and Rajah, a bonded pair of affectionate and playful pups looking for their forever home together! Rajah is a ~6.5 lb, ~7 yr old Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix & Rani is a ~4.5 lb, ~6 yr old longhair Chihuahua mix. They are both fixed, up to date on vaccines/vetting, and microchipped. These two can be shy with new people at first, but they don’t take long to open up – especially with treats! They’re very sweet, love to sit on laps, and give kisses – particularly Rani. They also never miss the sound—or smell—of food. Speaking of sounds, they can both be chatterboxes at times – especially when looking out the window. Whether they’re telling you about the other dogs in the neighborhood, sharing their thoughts on life, or letting you know there’s someone at the door, you’ll be in the know with these little ones around! They also enjoy playing, chasing each other around and wrestling. However, while they love their playtime, they also know how to relax and are excellent nappers. Rajah & Rani would thrive in a calm, low-stress home where they can get plenty of love and attention. They currently live with 2 other small dogs who they like to play with and one large cat they like to chase (but they don't cause any harm). Rajah may also mark occasionally, especially when nervous or excited, but both dogs will use potty pads reliably and if taken out every few hours during the day, they do not have any accidents. Overnight, they are crate trained in their own kennel and do not have any accidents. They’re not asking for much – just a cozy lap to sit on, some yummy snacks, and someone who understands their quirky, lovable personalities. Do you have room in your heart and home for them?
