Meet Frankie

Frankie must have a quiet home with no children and a fenced yard. No exceptions will be made. Frankie is a petite, 5-year-old girl looking for a quiet home that will love her shy self just as she is. We don’t know a lot about the first few years of Frankie’s life or why she is so sensitive to loud sounds and sudden movements, but because of this she needs a home without children. Frankie would love a home with other small dogs, especially well-socialized dogs to show her the ropes. Two of her favorite things are going on walks and sunbathing in the yard. When her foster home gets out her harness for walks, her entire body wiggles in excitement! Frankie’s nickname is “Boop” because she shows affection by “booping” her foster parents on the legs throughout the day and then wagging her tail. She will also give a hand or foot an occasional lick and seek out head scratches or even belly rubs if she’s feeling particularly outgoing. FShe would love a family that does not demand or expect affection and attention and is willing to accept that she is a dog content to keep to herself most of the time. Frankie has made vast improvements in her potty training but still has occasional accidents if she is not let outside regularly. She prefers not to be crated and has destuffed more than one bed, but she may have accidents if left out. Frankie is spayed, UTD on vaccinations, and on heartworm preventative. She also takes medication to help with her anxiety. This little girl really is a sweetheart who has a lot of love to give in her own quirky way.
