Meet Jet
JET DESPERATELY NEEDS OPTIONS! He needs an experienced lab owner or someone with experience training dogs to help us help Jet!!! Jet is a lab/boxer mix who needs a special home where he is the only pet to begin with or will need to be kept kenneled when not being supervised. Sadly, he has three strikes against him and would be euthanized in a shelter. Being black his chances for adoption are minimal. He loves to run free but at his last home the neighbors threatened to kill him for coming in woods while they were deer hunting. He has has lots of energy and loves to play, but desperately needs a chance with a person that has lab/pit experience. He is around 1 1/2 years old and weighs about 50 pounds. He is solid black and has the sweetest amber eyes. He is neutered and up to date on all of his vaccines. Jet is used to kids/pets and has a gentle soul. Since he is very active and used to roaming, he will need a home with a fenced in yard. Jet does not need to be with small farm animals like chickens or ducks. He’s so smart, just needs some love and attention. Jet is the perfect age to work with. While he hasn’t ever been inside, we are looking for a home that will transition him to having inside access. It definitely breaks our heart to see dogs outside cold and lonely wanting to be inside being loved. Our application will only say cats at this time because we were primarily a cat rescue. Since covid hit, we have helped dozens of canines and are trying to get our application modified.
Adoption Process
We generally adopt out fully vetted cats and older kittens, but we are attempting some new options. Since the covid we have taken in over 140 felines, and we are not set up for this. We have cats everywhere and lots of new fosters; many of which intend to adopt once cats are spayed/neutered.
