It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.

Meet Little Bit

Little Bit is an 8-year-old yellow lab mix with a sweet demeanor and a love for life. She came to us after her owner passed away and previously lived with her companions, Ladybug and Thor.Little Bit is good with other dogs and has passed initial cat testing. She is talkative, happy to be here, and enjoys moseying about at her own pace. This lovely lady is ready to find a forever home where she can share her gentle and joyful spirit.Adoption applications can be submitted at ITVrescue.org.All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary.
