It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.

Meet Jax, a sweet, 3 year old boxer mix. With his velvet coat and sweet demeanor, Jax makes for a great companion for anyone. He is usually found romping around with his brother or getting cuddles from his favorite kennel staff. Meet and greets can be done with any new potential best friends. If you're interested in meeting this sweetheart, please fill out an application at ITVrescue.org.All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated, if necessary.

Adoption application and contract, adoption fee from $200 to $300
