It Takes A Village No-Kill Rescue

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.

Meet Jacob

Jacob is a 6-year-old male beagle mix with a big heart and an even bigger personality. He came from a hoarding case of 53 dogs and is now learning how to enjoy life to the fullest. Jacob keeps his kennel fairly neat and is working on mastering his leash manners.This sweet boy is "thicker than a snicker," loves attention, and has an adorable smile paired with an irresistible wiggle butt. He’s ready to find a loving home where he can soak up all the affection he deserves.Adoption applications can be submitted at ITVrescue.org.All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary.
