It Takes A Village No-Kill Rescue

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.

Meet Rubble

Meet Rubble, a male Beagle mix with a heart as big as his gentle soul! Rescued from a 53-dog hoarding case, Rubble has proven to be a sweet and loving companion. While he might be timid when first meeting new people, he warms up quickly and will soon shower you with kisses and happily accept belly rubs and pets. Rubble is estimated to be two years old and weighs 10 lbs.Rubble enjoys playing with toys and settles nicely in his kennel overnight. His kind nature and playful spirit make him a wonderful addition to any home. Rubble is ready to find a loving family where he can thrive and share his affection. Apply to adopt him at ITVrescue.org! All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary.
