Meet Harley - H puppy litter

Handsome HARLEY is a gorgeous mixed breed puppy looking for his furever home. Harley is one of the H litter puppies, along with sisters Harmony and Helena. They were surrendered to a rural shelter, we were told the parents are a goldendoodle and a beagle. Harley has lovely golden highlights. He's about 12 weeks old and currently 15 pounds. We expect he will be a 40-50 pound dog when fully grown. Harley loves people, his happy place is close to his humans. He is fun and silly but a bit timid in new situations. Puppies usually thrive in the companionship of another friendly dog. However, Harley is so people oriented he might be okay as an only child as long as he's not left alone for long hours. The H pups must go to adopters in the greater Cincinnati/Tristate area in order to accommodate their vetting. If you'd like to meet Harley, Harmony or Helena, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter, or you can meet them at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. The H puppies will go to prospective homes for a trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. Their adoptions will be completed after their vetting is complete. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.

Adoption Process
We offer Foster To Adopt for dogs adoptions. You must complete the application, be approved and pay a $100 deposit ($150 puppies). You can then take the dog home for a trial visit of up to one week This will help you determine if you and the dog are the right match. If yes, then you can finalize the adoption. If no, then you return the dog to us and you are welcome to try a different dog. complete the necessary paperwork and pay a $100 deposit for adult dogs and $150 for puppies (cash, check or credit card). This fee is non-refundable, and will be applied to the adoption fee if you decide to finalize the adoption. The adoption fee includes the dog's spay/neuter surgery, parvo/distemper shots and rabies shots (for dogs over 6 months), deworming, microchipping, flea and tick protection, heartworm testing (for dogs over 6 months), and monthly heartworm protection until the dog gets adopted.
