Meet Snowflake

Adorable SNOWFLAKE is little Miss Fun. She's also a world class cuddler. Snowflake is a 9ish month old 11 pound mixed breed puppy. Snowflake is full of puppy energy and loves to run and play with her foster siblings. When playtime is over, she's ready for a good cuddle with whoever is available -- dogs, cats, humans of all ages, she loves everyone! She loves to give kisses too! Snowflake needs an active home where she will get plenty of playtime. She also needs a well stocked toy basket and a doggie playmate who can match her playful energy. Snowflake's breed mix is a mystery. Our best guesses are chihuahua, pug, maybe some Boston terrier and rat terrier. But those are just guesses, she's a perfect candidate for a DNA test! She has the most adorable little underbite. Snowflake is fully grown but we expect she will add a few pounds still as she builds up her strength after being undernourished when she arrived. Snowflake is housebroken, crate trained and so much fun. If you'd like to meet Snowflake, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.

Adoption Process
We offer Foster To Adopt for dogs adoptions. You must complete the application, be approved and pay a $100 deposit ($150 puppies). You can then take the dog home for a trial visit of up to one week This will help you determine if you and the dog are the right match. If yes, then you can finalize the adoption. If no, then you return the dog to us and you are welcome to try a different dog. complete the necessary paperwork and pay a $100 deposit for adult dogs and $150 for puppies (cash, check or credit card). This fee is non-refundable, and will be applied to the adoption fee if you decide to finalize the adoption. The adoption fee includes the dog's spay/neuter surgery, parvo/distemper shots and rabies shots (for dogs over 6 months), deworming, microchipping, flea and tick protection, heartworm testing (for dogs over 6 months), and monthly heartworm protection until the dog gets adopted.
