Shelter Animals Rescue Group

Our organization is an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit, formed in 1996 to help save adoptable dogs and cats from euthanization at the Oak Ridge Animal Shelter. We specialize in mixed breeds. Our shelter is often filled with very adoptable animals that must die because of space limitations, and we are devoted to giving a second chance to as many as we can. We house our animals in foster homes or boarding kennels for as long as it takes to find them permanent homes. We participate in numerous community events to promote our animals and the concept of adoption/rescue.

Meet Ginger

See Courtesy Posting Disclaimer * Ginger is a gorgeous, sweet and cuddly pittie mix looking for a home. She loves to play fetch, and loves to play with her stuffies and chew on her bones. Ginger will quickly become your little shadow and loves being with her people. She is a very friendly girl who has never met a stranger. She loves dogs and gets along with cats, too! She is all puppy still at only 11 months old and loves to run and play. She is good on walks, and is always up for a car ride, especially if it involves a pup cup! Ginger will be some lucky person's perfect companion. She is very intuitive and knows when you need an extra cuddle, is super intelligent and is able to fit into your routine quickly. This girl is a gem! She is also up to date on vaccines and is spayed. If you would like to meet Ginger, please send me a message! Call Charice at 865-315-2989 or email at [email protected].
