Name:  Mickey Age: 9 years Weight: 14 lbs Adoption Fee: $250.00 Good with Dogs?  Yes, other low energy dogs  Good with cats?  Yes  Meet  Mickey , a 9-year-old Shih Tzu with a heart full of love. Despite his blindness and deafness,  Mickey  navigates life with a goofy grin and a mellow attitude. His gentle nature makes him the perfect companion. He may not see or hear you, but he feels your presence, your touch, your kindness. And he will find you if you have food!    Mickey  is a testament to resilience, showing us that joy can be found even in the face of challenges. His happy demeanor and gentle spirit make him an exceptional friend.  Mickey  does well with other low energy dogs, cats, and even made friends with the bunny in his foster home. He's potty trained and loves going for walks. He's also a big fan of toys and enjoys playing just as much as enjoys snuggling up in a comfy bed.    Due to glaucoma,  Mickey  had surgery to remove both his eyes. Once he's healed up, he'll feel much better without the pain and pressure. Blind dogs do very well and it’s easy to forget they can’t see because they navigate around the home so well. To keep him happy and healthy Mickey needs  allergy meds that cost about $45 a month.  Mickey is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested, and micro chipped. His adoption fee is $250.00.   He’d love to have a home for the holidays! Adoption Process: Step 1:     Complete a "no obligation" application located on our website at pawprintsnky.com under the applications tab. Step 2:     PawPrints will review the application, verifying Vet and personal references as well as landlord requirements/restrictions (if applicable) Step 3:     IF your application is approved, we will call you to schedule a meet and greet for you to meet the pet. ​Step 4:    If the meet and greet goes well, we will schedule the home visit.          

Adoption Process
Approved Application, Home Visit, Adoption Contract, Typical fees are: $300 Puppies, $250 Adult dogs, $150 pair of kittens and $75 Adult cats Adopters must be a minimum of 24 years of age.
