Scott County Animal Care and Control

We are animal control and maintain our animal shelter and grounds. This includes enforcing laws, and adopting pets to the general public. We are a county ran facility, open admissions for both stray and owner surrenders. We do not charge surrender fees. We take calls for service to assist the community with animal related issues. We do this because we are compassionate about animals and we want to help our community.

Meet Queenie

This is Queenie! She is an extremely affectionate girl that loves being around her people! Queenie loves to talk to you, especially if you talk back to her! She was dropped off with no information about her, but we do know that she is absolutely wonderful to be around! She is housebroken and is very well behaved, and would love to find her forever family soon!
