Meet Sammie, a delightful 6-10-month-old German Shepherd mix who’s growing faster than a weed on a sunny day! This sharp, sweet girl is soaking up the world around her and loving every minute. Her closest buddy is an 8-year-old Spitz, though Sammie’s the life of any canine gathering and welcomes new dog friends with open paws. She’s a bit puzzled by cats but respects them enough to let them call the shots in her presence.Sammie’s hobbies include soaking up the sun and a spirited game of hide-and-seek with her foster mom. And here’s a tip: keep your slippers securely stashed—this slipper swiper has quite the collection going! As clever as they come, she’s learning to signal when she needs a break and is already picking up commands like “sit,” “lay,” and “drop it.”Sammie has not yet met kids but has had some memorable encounters with chickens and goats, which only add to her charm. She’s also a star when it comes to meeting new humans—whether in the park or at the store, she’s polite and curious. This girl is ready to find a forever family who can match her wit, love, and playful energy!

Adoption Process
You must be 21 years of age or older. The adoption fee is $150.00 for dogs and $85 for cats the fee covers vaccinations and spay/neuter, as well as a microchip that comes with a lifetime membership. Should you want to donate more it will be gratefully accepted! A securely fenced yard is required. If your yard is not fenced please provide an description of your property. Dogs must be indoor only homes. No exceptions.The use of chains and runners is not permitted. Dogs being kept outdoors only or in outdoor kennels is also not permitted. You must fill out our online adoption application for dogs or cats A vet check will be conducted, this may include checking out your residence, a background check, etc. All of your animals must be spayed/neutered, on monthly heartworm prevention and up to date on all vaccinations. No exceptions. You must uphold state laws. If you rent a letter from your landlord showing approval will be required. Cats will not be declawed. Indoor homes only, indoor outdoor homes considered on case by case basis depending on the cat and location of the home. You must sign and abide by our adoption contract. You agree to provide lots of tender loving care.
