Meet Remey

Hi, I’m Remey—a gentle, 10-year-old Cattle Dog/Australian Shepherd mix with a big heart and a mellow spirit. I weigh about 60 pounds and came to Pet Savers after my mom had to move into a nursing home. It was a hard decision, but I know she wanted the very best for me, and now I’m hoping to find a loving home to spend my golden years.   I’m a pretty easy-going girl who loves being around people. I might let out a few barks behind a fence, but that’s just me getting excited to say hello! I get along well with other dogs and generally just enjoy being part of the action without needing to be the center of it.   I’m up-to-date on all my vaccines, heartworm negative, and we’re currently keeping an eye on whether I’ve been spayed—if not, no worries, Pet Savers will take care of it.   If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion who’s past the puppy phase but still full of love to give, I’d be honored to meet you.   Apply to adopt me at petsaversshreveport.org!  

Adoption Process
Adopters must submit application to be approved to adopt. Adoption fees are $60 for cats and $80 for dogs. All animals are spayed/neutered before adoption or voucher is given at adoption to have the animal altered.
