Meet Ziggy

  Hi everyone! I’m Ziggy—but you can call me Ziggy Stardust. It makes me feel like the superstar I am! I’m currently crashing with my foster family, but I’m on the lookout for my forever home. Could that be with you? Let me tell you a bit about myself: I’m playful, affectionate, and downright charming. There’s nothing I love more than cuddling up on laps, playing with my favorite toys, and making new friends—especially other dogs. I’m working on getting to know the cat in my foster home, and once I’ve figured them out, I think we could get along just fine. I adore taking walks outside, sniffing out all the scents, and exploring the world around me. I’m happiest when I’m active and having fun, but I also know how to chill and enjoy quiet moments with my favorite humans. I also LOVE treats for good behavior, and I take them very gently. What I’m hoping to find in my forever home is someone who will appreciate me for the special pup I am and shower me with love and affection. In return, I promise to fill your life with boundless joy, wagging tails, and lots of cuddles. I really am an expert in all of those. If you think we’d make the perfect match, let’s meet up! I’m ready to dazzle my way into your heart.  

Adoption Process
Fees are: Puppies 0 - 6 months $495 Puppies 6 - 12 months $450 Adult dogs $395 Senior dogs 8 years and over $195 Adult cats $150 Kittens $195 or $250 for a pair Senior cats 8 years and over $95 Our adoption application is found and submitted through our website derryhumanesociety.com Once an application is submitted, it will be sent to an adoption counselor who will reach out to you if you may be a good match.
