Adopt a Homeless Animal Rescue (AAHA) is a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and assisting animals in crisis. We actively combat animal cruelty in any form. We have a particular commitment to pit bulls and aim to raise awareness about the breed, help those in need, and educate the public:•We seek to promote this lovely yet unfairly maligned breed as the sweet, intelligent, affectionate, and people-oriented dogs they are.•We assume stewardship over their well-being and strive to make this world a better place for them.•We serve as a resource and/or liaison for shelters, individuals, and the community at large, advocating for any animal in harm's way.•We also function in an advisory role for private citizens who seek assistance and guidance in better caring for their pets.We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

At just a year old, she’s got energy for days and a heart even bigger than her adorable puppy-dog eyes. ✨ Angel’s Greatest Hits: ✔ Professional Cuddler – If you sit down, she will find a way onto your lap. ✔ Kissing Machine – You’ll never need a face wash again! ✔ Champion of Playtime – Whether it’s running, playing with doggy friends, or trying (and failing) to convince the cat to join in, Angel is always ready for fun. ✔ Crate Trained & House Ready – She’s got the basics down but could use a little extra training to curb her excitement (like jumping up to hug you the second you walk in the door). ✔ Kiddo-Approved – She adores children, especially her current tiny human, a 4-year-old bestie. ✔ Toy Enthusiast – Loves her chew toys (but let’s skip the collagen ones – her tummy says no, thanks). ✔ Walks? Yes, Please! – The longer, the better! Angel thrives in a home where she has space to run and a family who loves an affectionate, playful pup. She gets along with other dogs her size and is always up for an adventure. She’s up to date on shots (due in April) but is not yet spayed. Could Angel be your new best friend? Adoption Process
We do require an adoption application, and once this is approved, followed by a home visit and adoption fee $175.
