PIPER NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Piper        Best Guess for Breed: Saint Bernard Mix   Best Guess for Age: 1 year as of February 2023        SEX: female   Approximate Weight: 60lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! Piper has done well with kids she has met. Given what we have observed so far, however, we think she would do well in a home with kids. We haven’t seen Piper with cats, but she can be tested!   Currently Living at: Shelter – PIPER NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!   Piper is Looking For: A comfy, cozy home! Piper is excited to go on long walks, hiking adventures, maybe even camping?? She might like a s'more or two - just hold the chocolate! Piper is a big girl so she needs a big dog bed and lots of room to stretch out.  Have a yard? Yay! She can run around for hours. Don't have a yard? She'll be happy with lots of long walks. Dog park visits? Yes - let's make all the new dog friends! What My Foster Says About Me: We will update this once Piper has arrived in the DC area and spent some time with her foster. Adoption Process
1. Complete Adoption Application 2. Phone interview, vet check and home visit. 3. Contract signed (requirements include keeping a pet ID on dog at all times, keeping the dog as a pet, spaying/neutering puppies by 6 monts of age, returning the pet to Lucky Dog in the adopter cannot take care of it at any point in the future, and providing adequate vet care for the rest of the dog's life.
