Adopt A Homeless Animal Rescue

Adopt a Homeless Animal Rescue (AAHA) is a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and assisting animals in crisis. We actively combat animal cruelty in any form. We have a particular commitment to pit bulls and aim to raise awareness about the breed, help those in need, and educate the public:•We seek to promote this lovely yet unfairly maligned breed as the sweet, intelligent, affectionate, and people-oriented dogs they are.•We assume stewardship over their well-being and strive to make this world a better place for them.•We serve as a resource and/or liaison for shelters, individuals, and the community at large, advocating for any animal in harm's way.•We also function in an advisory role for private citizens who seek assistance and guidance in better caring for their pets.We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Meet Banchi Bringer

Courtesy post “Banchi Bringer is a 10 month old neutered male. He is a gentle loving dog with an enormous amount of energy. He is currently in the home with another dog and 3 children (4,6&14 y.o.). He is kennel trained at nights. We have almost 2 acres of fenced yard for him. However, he is very clingy and wants to be with his people all the time. If not he has been known to dig and chew out of boredom, stress or extra energy. Another reason he is kenneled when we leave him at home alone. There is also a cat in the family who tolerates him but has had to smack him numerous times. It has not resulted in any fights but I do still struggle to get him to not be soo interested in playing with a cat that’s not interested! We renamed him Banchi Bringer because of his breads origins and the fact that he constantly brings us things (toys, recycling, anything he can get his mouth on) sometimes a little chewed but not destroyed. It takes ALOT of exercising to get him worn out enough to relax or nap with the other dog. All his handlers love his temperament and it is great. However, his energy level and need for constant attention and direction are not ideal for our family so are looking for a new home for him. Up to date on all immunizations, in good health and housetrained.” Email [email protected] if interested. Disclaimer: AAHA provides complimentary listings for members of the community who wish to rehome their pet, as well as for other shelters/ rescues to assist them in finding Furever homes. Courtesy posted pets are not affiliated with AAHA rescue. Unfortunately, there is not enough space or resources to admit every animal to our rescue that needs a furever home. But, we still want to help those in need along their journey! By courtesy posting, we are offering our website/network as an additional outlet to help an owner or rescue gain additional exposure for the animal they are trying to place. AAHA can make no representation about courtesy posted pets including the health or suitability for adoption and accepts no liability in this exchange. Arrangements for adoptions are made between the Caretaker of the pet and the potential Adopter.

Adoption Process
We do require an adoption application, and once this is approved, followed by a home visit and adoption fee $175.

Look for other dogs for adoption!
