BLACKY BEBE NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!   Name:   Blacky Bebe        Best Guess for Breed:   Terrier/Shepher mix  Best Guess for Age:   1 yr 8 months as of Sept 2024        SEX:   Male   Approximate Weight:  34.5 lbs   Gets Along With:   Other dogs, kids, and cats, as reported by the shelter!    Special adoption considerations:  Blacky Bebe is shy and needs to go to a home with a welcoming resident dog to show him the ropes. We would be cautious placing Blacky Bebe in a home with children under 12 years old because young kids can often scare shy dogs with their level of energy or noise.  Children would need to be supervised closely to not leave doors open and should never walk the dog without an adult holding the leash.  We would be happy to discuss this more in depth with any applicant.     Currently Living at:   DC area boarding partner -- needs foster or forever home!   Blacky Bebe is Looking For:  A family who will shower me with love and affection. I promise to return it tenfold with wagging tails and endless cuddles.  I'd love to join you on all your adventures, do you want to take me home?   What My Foster Says About Me:  At home, he was so, so sweet and loved lots of pets and belly rubs.....He did a great job on his walks—he is very curious and has some strength on the leash!.. —and he was great at going outside.  He also noticed but did not react to other dogs and people. .....he is an incredible pup!  Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:      The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. Adoption Process
1. Complete Adoption Application 2. Phone interview, vet check and home visit. 3. Contract signed (requirements include keeping a pet ID on dog at all times, keeping the dog as a pet, spaying/neutering puppies by 6 monts of age, returning the pet to Lucky Dog in the adopter cannot take care of it at any point in the future, and providing adequate vet care for the rest of the dog's life.
