Meet Retriever/Pointer/Hound mix

For several years, our rescue partners in TN have been dealing with a dog hoarder known as “The Tent Lady”. Norma got this name because she lived in a tent with over 50 dogs. All of the dogs but a couple were rescued. Norma would disappear and reappear over the years with more unfortunate dogs in need of rescue. In May of 2023 she was charged with animal cruelty when she abandoned puppies at an animal shelter parking lot l, and a Golden Retriever mix in a mobile home that she was evicted from. Once again she has reappeared with unwanted pups. This litter of 6 pups came on 2-16 and are available for adoption on 3-1. The mother is a 40lb. Golden Retriever/Pointer/Hound mix, most likely related to the dog she abandoned in May. The daddy is anyone's guess. The other litter is only 4 weeks old and will hopefully find their way to our rescue when they are 8 weeks old. 

Adoption Process
In order to adopt you will be required to fill out an application to adopt. You must provide a veterinarian reference or other references to complete the adoption process. If you are renting, you will also be required to provide us with information verifying that you are allowed to have pets. Adoption fees vary and include vaccines, deworming, topical flea control, heartworm testing, transport fees, food, boarding, medical care and spaying/neutering or a $75.00 Spay Neuter Refund Certificate.
