Patricia has been with us for 2 years now. She is around 6 years old now and hopes very soon that she will find someone to love her and cherish her the way she deserves and has been waiting so long for. Patricia is not a fan of other dogs unless they are very laid back and don’t want to play with her and would like to just coexist in harmony while lounging, so would need to be the only dog in a home she does need a adult only, quiet home with only 1-2 people. No children. She thinks They’re scary and unpredictable she has been cat tested and did well she weighs about 40 lbs. we do not know her breeds Patricia is honestly such a sweet, sweet soul who just wants you to love her it does take her time to warm up to you. If she meets you, she may grumble a bit for awhile but if you leave her be and toss a Milo’s meatball to her, she wants to lie in your lap for belly rubs soon enough she has previously need sedated at the vet for procedures and nail trims, but she did wonderfully at her last visit and even let the staff love on her she previously had heartworm but was treated when she first arrived and has been clear ever since she is crate trained and does use it as her safe space she is house trained but can excite pee when she first realizes she absolutely loves you once she does love you, there’s no going back. You are hers forever. she will need a home who has patience and dedication to keeping her safe and loved for all her days she would like a fenced in yard she loves going for walks, car rides and on adventures she knows sit, lie down, paw, “other paw,” wait and she doesn’t try to counter surf even though she hopes you give her something yummy for being a good girl. she is a wonderful snuggler she also has a painted portrait done by an amazing artist at Cheddar Paws Dog Art that will go with her to her new home. She’s been waiting so very long, we hope someone will see the same qualities in her that we do and be able to give her the home she deserves and has been waiting for. To give Patricia the home she’s been waiting for, please see the featured section of our fb for the post titled “all things information” or view our webpage.
