Meet Sebastian

Sebastian is a 2-3 year old male, brindle mixed breed (we are not sure what all his DNA contains) he came to us extremely sick, swollen joints and losing weight. The shelter didn’t have the resources to help him and asked if we could give him a chance to figure out what was happening, get him healthy and find him a home Sebastian’s body was having a bad reaction to having heartworm. His body was trying to fight off his heartworm infection but was attacking itself instead. he has since received all 3 of his treatment injections, and is completely finished with all vetting including vaccines and neuter. he has gained much needed weight, and weighs around 65 lbs he does not seem to like other dogs, and will chase cats he loves people and wants to be your Velcro dog he would do best without small children as he does not know his size…at all. he knows sit and touch, working on lie down he is working on his basic commands and leash walking and would love someone active to spend his time romping with, hiking with, and going on adventures with he is doing well with house training he is crate trained he is very food motivated and very affection motivated he is a very excited boy who just wants you to love him with all you have, because that’s exactly what he will give you. Adoption Process
We require an application, check 2 professional references and 1 personal reference, veterinary reference. We conduct an applicant interview followed by a home visit and final interview. Adoption contracts are reviewed at adoption day. Senior dogs $200, all others $350 All other pets in home must be up to date on vaccines and spay/neuterrd
