Meet Thorpe

Thorpe is a 8 month old happy boy! He weighs around 30 lbs and is pretty much done growing he is a gorgeous brindle mixed breed.. no, we do not know his breeds and we do not attempt to guess them. It is impossible to correctly guess a dogs breeds by their appearance. The only way to accurately know is to do DNA or to have bred the parents—which we do not do… because, rescue. he came from a shelter partner after being brought in as a stray he has done well with his foster doggos, but can be a bit saucy when meeting new dogs he occasionally will chase cats to play but is afraid of their kitty mittens so rethinks his life choices quickly he is young. And he chews… he’ll steal shoes, phone cables, paper… whatever he can sneak and get you to chase him for… because pups think that’s a fantastic game he has learned sit and is working on his other basic commands he is working hard on house, crate and leash training he does well with kids he will need continued positive associations and praise… and as always, patience he is a big snuggler one of his favorite summer outside activities is to chase them Lightnin Bugs. he is all finished with his vet care-vaccines/neuter, 4DX etc If Thorpe seems like the perfectly new member of your family, please see the featured section of our fb page for the post titled “all things Information” or visit our webpage Accepting Applications

Adoption Process
We require an application, check 2 professional references and 1 personal reference, veterinary reference. We conduct an applicant interview followed by a home visit and final interview. Adoption contracts are reviewed at adoption day. Senior dogs $200, all others $350 All other pets in home must be up to date on vaccines and spay/neuterrd
