Fairy Tails Rescue, Inc.

Hi everyone! Just as a little background on us, Sarah and Jules, we are originally from Pugh Zoo Rescue. Sarah founded Pugh Zoo and ran it from 2014 to 2019 after fostering and volunteering for other rescues for several years. Jules was one of her best fosters and volunteers during that time. Over that 5yrs span thousands of lives were saved but sadly personal issues arose which forced a closure. Two years later we have teamed up as Fairy Tails Rescue and can’t wait to save lives with the help of fans, family, friends and all those willing to join us on this journey!! <3

Meet Max

~Adoptable Max~ Meet Max, a sweet and playful 30 pound, 2 year-old beagle mix, who is ready to find a family to share his love and energy with. Max is a true lover at heart, and he’s always happy to play with anyone—humans and dogs alike! He also does very well with the free roam bunny in his foster home and we think he would  do just fine with other types of animals with proper introductions. He is curious about the world and loves to explore every new corner with excitement and joy. Max is doing well with crate and potty training. He is also learning basic commands quickly as he is very food motivated. Max is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and is on monthly prevention for an adoption fee of $400. We know he will bring such joy to someone willing to give him the love and attention he deserves. Max is the perfect size to go on all of your adventures! https://form.jotform.com/fairytailsrescuemd/dogpuppy-adoption-application

Adoption Process
Potential adopters start by filling out our adoption application. The completed application is read over and if we have any questions we will contact them accordingly. Next at least two personal and if applicable a vet reference is contacted. Assuming that goes well it is followed by a physical home check. Once that is all completed we setup a meet to adopt where the entire family (including canine members if adopting a dog) come to meet the potential new family member. If the meeting goes well they are fully approved to take their pet home at that time.
