Partnership for Animal Welfare

Partnership for Animal Welfare (PAW) was founded in 1996 and is a all-volunteer, cat and dog rescue organization. Our mission is to place homeless dogs and cats in loving and stable homes. We focus on holding weekend adoption shows to allow prospective owners to meet with the animals and with our volunteers.

Meet Cagney

Cagney is a delightful girl with a heart of gold and a thick black coat. "So friendly and people focused" is how her foster describes her. She says that Cagney is a baby and still learning her manners in the home. Sweet and loves to cuddle is how Cagney's foster describes her temperament. Ear scratches and belly rubs are the way to Cagney's heart. She is a wonderful and loving dog!Entertaining and playful, Cagney is always ready to go. At 46 pounds, she is a great size to accompany you wherever you go...park, hike, beach or backyard. She loves other dogs and enjoys meeting new friends along her walks. She is still learning to walk on leash but is learning quickly thanks to her love of treats! Cagney enjoys being around people and although she has a lot of puppy energy, she is content to relax and snuggle up with her perosn when the day is done.  Cagney is a lovely young lady who will bring joy to any home.

Adoption Process

Vet check is performed on applicant for current and past pets. 4. Home visit is conducted. 5. If the adoption is approved, a contract is signed, a donation made, and the pet goes home with the adopter.
