ISRAEL NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!   Come meet Israel and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (June 4th) from 12-3 pm at the Potomac Yard PetSmart in Alexandria (3351 Richmond Hwy, Alexandria, VA 22305)! Name:  Israel         Best Guess for Breed:  Shepherd and beagle mix Best Guess for Age: 1 year as of May 2023      SEX:  Female   Approximate Weight:  25 lbs   Gets Along With:   Other dogs! We haven't seen her with kids or cats but she can be tested.    Currently Living at: South Carolina shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get her freedom ride up here!   Israel is Looking For: Her very own humans! This pretty girl is in her prime as a young dog and has all that awesome energy for long sniffy walks, romps in the park, and all the adventures her humans can dream up. She's also eager to go to obedience school to show how super smart she is! But what she wants most of all is to know she's safe and loved for all her days. In exchange, she promises loyal companionship and adoring gazes. What do you say? Can you see Israel trotting by your side? What My Foster Says About Me:   We will update this once she has arrived in the DC area and spent some time with her foster Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:      The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. Adoption Process
1. Complete Adoption Application 2. Phone interview, vet check and home visit. 3. Contract signed (requirements include keeping a pet ID on dog at all times, keeping the dog as a pet, spaying/neutering puppies by 6 monts of age, returning the pet to Lucky Dog in the adopter cannot take care of it at any point in the future, and providing adequate vet care for the rest of the dog's life.
