GLORIA NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME WITH NO CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 12!!!!       Come meet Gloria and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (February 19th) from 12-3 pm at the PetSmart in Falls Church (6100A Arlington Blvd, Falls Church, VA 22044)!       Name: Gloria        Best Guess for Breed: Chihuahua mix Best Guess for Age: 6 years as of February 2023        SEX:  Female   Approximate Weight: 9 lbs   Gets Along With:   Other dogs! We have not seen her with cats but she can be tested. She may not go to a home with children under the age of 12.   Currently Living at: South Carolina shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get her freedom ride up here!   Special adoption considerations:  Due to her breed and small size, she may not go to a home with children under the age of 12.   Gloria is Looking For: Her forever family! Through no fault at all of her own, this small sweetie now needs a new home. She is eager to have her own humans to trot alongside on sniffy walks and all the adventures they can dream up. A cushy dog bed would be great too but a nice warm lap may be even better, and quality kibble rounds out her wish list. But you know what she wants most of all? To be safe and loved, under her own roof, every time the sun goes down. In exchange, she promises adoring gazes and loyal companionship for all her days. What do you say - is there space in your life and your lap for Gloria? What My Foster Says About Me: We will update this once this pup has arrived in the DC area and spent some time in foster care. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:   The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. Adoption Process
1. Complete Adoption Application 2. Phone interview, vet check and home visit. 3. Contract signed (requirements include keeping a pet ID on dog at all times, keeping the dog as a pet, spaying/neutering puppies by 6 monts of age, returning the pet to Lucky Dog in the adopter cannot take care of it at any point in the future, and providing adequate vet care for the rest of the dog's life.
