Meet Kirby

DESCRIPTION:  Kirby is a gorgeous, light colored young and healthy GSD who did very well in his previous home.  We know a little about Kirby, as he was an owner-surrender due to COVID hitting this family particularly hard and unavoidable changes in the household.  For Kirby’s former family, this was an incredibly heartbreaking and difficult decision to make, but they knew they weren’t able to provide the life Kirby once knew and deserved.  They wanted to do what is best for him and brought Kirby to us. Unfortunately, all of this commotion has left poor Kirby very confused, and as a result, he is reserved and unsure.   Young Kirby will need some extra time decompressing as he realizes that he is truly loved and the right family is near.  He would thrive in a home with a person or family who is familiar or is eager to teach him the ways of being a good GSD; structure, boundaries, routines, consistency and love. Kirby would be eternally grateful for the rescue, love and structure. In return, your face will be adorned with mostly sloppy kisses and a shadow in the shape of a handsome GSD. Adoption Process
We perform reference checks and conduct a home visit. For the home visit, all members of the family must be present. Adoption fee is $250.00 (verify at www.magsr.org)
