Meet Delilah

Hey there! I’m Delilah   I’m a Georgia girl at heart, but excited to find my family up here in Pennsylvania in time for the holidays. My foster mama likes to call me Dee or Lilah, and she says I’m sweet as can be! I am about four years old and weigh approximately 60 pounds. Don’t be fooled by my age—I’m still very playful! I’m a mix breed, not quite sure what I’m made of, and have a gorgeous brindle coat. Though my genetics are unsure, I can promise you I’m 100% LOVE!! Humans and dogs are my favorite. I live with two fur siblings — one male, one female — and we get along great! I was cat tested down south and did well, but currently don’t live with any cats in my foster home. The doctors took good care of me: I am spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and taking monthly preventatives. I enjoy running and playing in the back yard as well as chewing on a bone in the living room with my foster mama and fur foster siblings. Make sure you have tons of toys — I will take every one of them out of basket! I’m working on my manners, but respond immediately to my foster mama’s correction because I want to make my future family happy some day. I am house and crate trained — no accidents over here! Think you want to meet me? Would I be a good fit for your family? My foster mama says I’m the “classic American family dog”… That’s a good thing, right?! Please apply online and request Delilah! I’ll give you lots of kisses and love as long as you give me a warm, loving home for the holidays. I’ll be patiently waiting in Mechanicsburg, PA for my Christmas miracle!  We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs.  Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. We are an all-volunteer organization, and we are always looking for more help. Learn more about adopting from us or volunteering for us at www.pack9rescue.org or check us out on Facebook for more information and a complete list of dogs available for adoption.

Adoption Process
