MILEY NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Miley Best Guess for Breed: Shepherd/retriever mix Best Guess for Age: 2 years as of February 2025 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 22.8 pounds as of February 2025 Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with kids or cats, but she can be tested. Currently Living at: Shelter! Needs a foster or forever home. Special adoption considerations: Because Miley was transferred into our care before the shelter could alter her, she has not yet been spayed. We will alter her as soon as possible. However, if she is adopted before she is spayed, her adopter will become responsible for altering her. This must be done by March 22, 2025. There are NO EXCEPTIONS and NO EXTENSIONS to this. Miley is Looking For: Her forever home! She landed in the shelter through no fault of her own. She hasn't seen nearly enough of the world yet. She's eager to get her own humans for long sniffy walks, romps in parks, and all the adventures her new family can dream up. Trips to the beach, the mountains, Starbucks for pup cups - yes, please! Making lots of pup and people pals along the way is high on her wish list, as are quality kibble and and a cushy dog bed. But you know what she wants most of all? To know where she belongs, to know who her people are, and to be safe and loved. In exchange, she offers the stockpile of adoring gazes and little tail wags she has amassed - and loyal companionship for all her days. What do you say? Is this pup the one you see curled up on your lap? Trotting by your side? What My Foster Says About Me: We will update this once this dog has arrived in the DC area and spent some time with her foster! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.
