OUIJA NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:  Ouija      Best Guess for Breed:  Retriever/Terrier   Best Guess for Age:   2.5 years as of April 2025         SEX:   female   Approximate Weight:  40 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  DC area foster home!   Ouija is Looking For:  Meet Ouija, our sweet and snuggly girl! Recently rescued, this adorable mama is ready to find a loving forever home. Ouija is a total lovebug who craves cuddles—she’ll happily curl up beside you and shower you with affection. She enjoys long walks and is always up for some fun playtime with her doggie pals. Ouija has a heart full of love and would make the perfect companion for someone who enjoys both outdoor adventures and cozy moments at home. If you're looking for a loyal, playful, and affectionate dog, Ouija might just be the one!  What My Foster Says About Me:  Ouija is a gentle soul who wants nothing more than to snuggle on the couch with you and get lots of belly rubs. She is great with my resident dog, and their favorite game is chasing each other around the yard every morning. She is great on the leash and loves a long walk where she gets to sniff all the spring flowers! She is also a very polite houseguest and has been great in her crate.   Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. Adoption Process
1. Complete Adoption Application 2. Phone interview, vet check and home visit. 3. Contract signed (requirements include keeping a pet ID on dog at all times, keeping the dog as a pet, spaying/neutering puppies by 6 monts of age, returning the pet to Lucky Dog in the adopter cannot take care of it at any point in the future, and providing adequate vet care for the rest of the dog's life.
