JOBY NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Joby         Best Guess for Breed:  Terrier and poodle mix Best Guess for Age:  5 years as of October 2024       SEX:  Male   Approximate Weight:  Coming soon   Gets Along With:   Other dogs! We haven't seen him with kids or cats but he can be tested if you have them.    Currently Living at:  Texas shelter; will come to the DC area   Special adoption considerations:  Because this pup is arriving into our care before the shelter could alter it, it has not yet been altered. We will alter as soon as possible; however, if Jobya is adopted before we can alter him, the adopter will become responsible for the alter. This must be done by November 26, 2024; there are NO EXCEPTIONS and NO EXTENSIONS to this date.    Joby is Looking For:   His forever family! Through no fault, this sweetie needs a new home. He's eager to once again have his own humans for sniffy walks and romps and all the adventures they can dream up - hey he may be 5 or so but small dogs' batteries last a LONG time and he's ready to go! Plus, at his size if there are giant obstacles in his path - hey, he's portable! Most of all, he wants to be safe and loved for all his days. In exchange, he promises loyal companionship and adoring gazes. What do you say? Is there a Joby-shaped gap in your lap and your life? What My Foster Says About Me:   We will update this once this pup has arrived in the DC area and spent some time in foster care Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:      The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and transport from the shelter. Adoption Process
1. Complete Adoption Application 2. Phone interview, vet check and home visit. 3. Contract signed (requirements include keeping a pet ID on dog at all times, keeping the dog as a pet, spaying/neutering puppies by 6 monts of age, returning the pet to Lucky Dog in the adopter cannot take care of it at any point in the future, and providing adequate vet care for the rest of the dog's life.
