MUFFY NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:   Muffy          Best Guess for Breed:  Chihuahua / Terrier mix    Best Guess for Age:  1 year as of 03/25/2025          SEX:   female   Approximate Weight:  12 lbs.   Gets Along With:  other dogs. We haven't seen them with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  the shelter, Muffy needs a foster and a forever home.   Special adoption considerations:    {example, no kids, needs second dog etc. Delete if not applicable}   Muffy is Looking For:   Someone who appreciates a small dog with a big personality! Just past her first birthday, Muffy can't wait to find a forever home. A shelter is no place for such a sweet young dog. Muffy doesn't take up much space but she will fill your heart with love. Chihuahuas are known to be lively and entertaining so who's up for some fun with Muffy?   Muffy may be small but she's an active dog who will need exercise each day. It's important for young dogs to be properly socialized with both people and other dogs. Visits to dog parks, doggy day care, and private play dates will allow her to keep up her canine social skills. Training is important to help keep Muffy safe and to strength her bond with you. She's a smart girl but Chihuahuas can be sassy so start training before she learns how to get one step ahead of you! What My Foster Says About Me:   We will update as soon as Muffy is living with a foster.  Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. Adoption Process
1. Complete Adoption Application 2. Phone interview, vet check and home visit. 3. Contract signed (requirements include keeping a pet ID on dog at all times, keeping the dog as a pet, spaying/neutering puppies by 6 monts of age, returning the pet to Lucky Dog in the adopter cannot take care of it at any point in the future, and providing adequate vet care for the rest of the dog's life.
