Name:   Maverick          Best Guess for Breed:   Black Mouth Cur/Labrador Mix   Best Guess for Age:   1 year as of November 2024          SEX:    Male   Approximate Weight:   46 lbs as of November 2024   Gets Along With:    Other dogs! We have not seen Maverick interact with kids or cats yet but he can be tested!   Currently Living at:   Shelter. Maverick needs a foster or an adopter to make his way to the DC Metro area   Maverick is Looking For:    A family to take him on lots of adventures! Maverick is looking for a safe home with a family that will take him on long walks, give him chances to play with other doggo friends, and let him show off how smart he is in training! He mostly wants a loving family that will give him lots of treats, snuggles and belly rubs. Do you have room for Maverick in your family?! What My Foster Says About Me:   Coming soon! We will update once Maverick has spent some time in his foster home. Adoption Process
1. Complete Adoption Application 2. Phone interview, vet check and home visit. 3. Contract signed (requirements include keeping a pet ID on dog at all times, keeping the dog as a pet, spaying/neutering puppies by 6 monts of age, returning the pet to Lucky Dog in the adopter cannot take care of it at any point in the future, and providing adequate vet care for the rest of the dog's life.
