JIF NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:  Jif     Best Guess for Breed: Retriever and shepherd mix Best Guess for Age:   2 years as of December 2024      SEX:   Male   Approximate Weight:  43 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen him with kids or cats but he can be tested if you have them.    Currently Living at:  Shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get his freedom ride up here.    Jif is Looking For:   His forever family! He's got all that awesome young-dog energy and is eager to have his own humans for long sniffy walks, romps in the park, and exploring the world - he hasn't seen nearly enough of it. He'd love to make pup pals along the way, too. Quality kibble, cushy dog beds, peanut butter-filled Kongs - yes, please. But you know what he wants most of all? To know where he belongs, to know he's safe and loved for all his days.  What do you say? Is he the one you see by your side? What My Foster Says About Me:   We will update this once he has arrived in the DC area and spent some time with his foster. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:      The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. Adoption Process
1. Complete Adoption Application 2. Phone interview, vet check and home visit. 3. Contract signed (requirements include keeping a pet ID on dog at all times, keeping the dog as a pet, spaying/neutering puppies by 6 monts of age, returning the pet to Lucky Dog in the adopter cannot take care of it at any point in the future, and providing adequate vet care for the rest of the dog's life.
