BOWSER NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Bowser Best Guess for Breed: Terrier and poodle mix Best Guess for Age: 5 years as of September 2024 SEX: Male Approximate Weight: 20 lbs Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen him with kids or cats but he can be tested. Currently Living at: Texas shelter; will make his way east! Special adoption considerations: Bowser is being transferred into our care before his shelter can neuter him. Lucky Dog will schedule him for neuter as soon as possible. However, if he is adopted before we can alter him, his adopter becomes responsible for altering him. He must be neutered by October 14, 2024; there are NO EXCEPTIONS and NO EXTENSIONS to this deadline. Bowser is Looking For: His forever home! He landed in an overcrowded rural shelter heavily matted. He's firmly closed that chapter and is eagerly looking ahead to his new one, the one where he gets his own humans for sniffy walks and world exploration. And quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. And lots of snuggles. And definitely daily brushing and regular professional grooming - mats hurt!He has so much to offer in exchange - all the adoring gazes and cuddles he's storing up, and loyal companionship for all his days. Adoption Process
1. Complete Adoption Application
2. Phone interview, vet check and home visit.
3. Contract signed (requirements include keeping a pet ID on dog at all times, keeping the dog as a pet, spaying/neutering puppies by 6 monts of age, returning the pet to Lucky Dog in the adopter cannot take care of it at any point in the future, and providing adequate vet care for the rest of the dog's life.
