FINN NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Finn Best Guess for Breed: Golden retriever and poodle mix Best Guess for Age: 3 years as of March 2025 SEX: Male Approximate Weight: 52 lbs Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen him with kids or cats but he can be tested if you have them. Currently Living at: South Carolina shelter - needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here. Finn is Looking For: His forever home! Through no fault of his own, this sweetie landed in the shelter. He's eager to once again have his own humans for long sniffy walks, romps in parks, and all the adventures they can dream up - gotta burn off all that awesome dog energy! Quality kibble, cushy dog bed, chew dog toys - yes, please, to all those. AND - there is one more need Finn has. See that adorably curly coat? It is a DOODLE coat and those coats are high maintenance. Finn needs thorough daily brushing and regular professional grooming, about every 4-6 weeks. If you're not prepared to provide that, Finn respectfully asks that you consider a shorter-coated dog instead. Matted coats are painful! He's got so much love and loyalty to provide in return. What do you say? Are he and you each what the other needs? What My Foster Says About Me: We will update this once he has arrived in the DC area and spent some time with his foster. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training. TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
