BLACKY BEBE NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!   Name:   Blacky Bebe        Best Guess for Breed:   Terrier/Shepher mix  Best Guess for Age:   1 yr 8 months as of Sept 2024        SEX:   Male   Approximate Weight:  34.5 lbs   Gets Along With:   Other dogs, kids, and cats, as reported by the shelter!    Special adoption considerations:  When Blacky Bebe arrived from the shelter, he was pretty reserved in the hustle and bustle of city life.  He has been making great strides in foster care! We think Blacky Bebe would do best  in a home that either has a resident dog or who can make sure Blacky Bebe has lots of opportunities to go on walks regularly with other dogs or visit dog parks and/or doggie daycare with other dogs to build confidence.     Currently Living at:   DC area foster home.   Blacky Bebe is Looking For:  A family who will shower me with love and affection. I promise to return it tenfold with wagging tails and endless cuddles.  I'd love to join you on all your adventures, do you want to take me home?   What My Foster Says About Me:  At home, he was so, so sweet and loved lots of pets and belly rubs.....He did a great job on his walks—he is very curious and has some strength on the leash!.. —and he was great at going outside.  He also noticed but did not react to other dogs and people. .....he is an incredible pup!  Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:      The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. Adoption Process
1. Complete Adoption Application 2. Phone interview, vet check and home visit. 3. Contract signed (requirements include keeping a pet ID on dog at all times, keeping the dog as a pet, spaying/neutering puppies by 6 monts of age, returning the pet to Lucky Dog in the adopter cannot take care of it at any point in the future, and providing adequate vet care for the rest of the dog's life.
