Meet Rocket, a stunning 4-year-old Shepherd mix with a sleek black and tan coat and a heart full of love to share. At 65 lbs., Rocket is a big dog with an equally big personality. He is a friendly, high-energy companion who enjoys making new canine friends and gets along wonderfully with children. His acceptance of a feline companion remains unknown since he has not been exposed to cats since coming into rescue. Rocket has mastered his house and crate training and is moving forward with mastering his leash training. Although he is housetrained, it is important to remember that accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment. Picture the joy of strolling through your neighborhood with Rocket by your side, tossing a ball for him in the park, or simply spending time together exploring the great outdoors. He will keep you active and smiling with his playful spirit and enthusiasm for life.After a day of adventures, Rocket knows how to relax. Adoption Process
Potential adopters must complete a comprehensive application, interview and home inspection. The final step in the process is explaination and completion of adoption contract. The adoption fee is $450 inclusive of all vetting and transportation charges.
