Meet Penelope

If you know Penelope the way we know Penelope, your heart is sure to swoon for her. Her beautiful red fur and spirited eyes are just the tip of the iceberg. Take some time to get to know her and you will see her sweet disposition come through. Penelope came into rescue as a pregnant dog and happily had a healthy litter that she nursed until they were old enough to be without her and up for adoption. Now has an empty nester, Penelope is in search of her ideal forever home. She is 5 years old and is a Terrier mix. Penelope is at her adult weight of 49 pounds placing her on the higher end of a medium size gal. We cannot imagine what life was like for her prior to rescue. With her past a secret, we can shine the spotlight on her future and things are looking up and the sky is the limit. Penelope is a medium energy gal with so much charm that is it easy to see that her friend list keeps on growing. She does well with other dogs, children and cats. She is a delight to interact with on many levels. She is getting accustomed to house dog homelife and with that she is learning her skills along the way. She is working on her crate training but has mastered her house and leash walking. She is ready to impress her forever family and learn from them all she needs to be an awesome canine companion. Although Penelope is house trained, it is important to remember that accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment. With lots of love to give, Penelope will forge everlasting bonds with her people. She is sweetness right down to the core. Take a change on her and you will be glad you did. Adoption Process
Potential adopters must complete a comprehensive application, interview and home inspection. The final step in the process is explaination and completion of adoption contract. The adoption fee is $450 inclusive of all vetting and transportation charges.
