Meet Milo
Meet the dog with the 100-watt smile that tells you he is a happy sweet guy whose looking for a family that will recognize what a great dog he is. Milo is so handsome! He has a gorgeous short tan coat and a face that is as lovable as can be. He has those lab-like ears and dark brown, amber eyes typical of a lab. Milo is thought to be a year and 8 months, probably full grown as he weighs 45 pounds. He is a lab mix. Lab mixes are known for their intelligence and wonderful temperament. They are friendly, demonstrative, playful, outgoing, and of course, lovable. They are known to have a very long and active puppyhood, so they would be well suited for an active family. He is comfortable around other canines, adults, and kids. It is not known if he has met a cat. As to training, since nothing is known about his previous life, start with a refresher course in crate, house, and leash training. (Please note that even trained dogs may have accidents in the beginning as they adjust to new routines and a new family).Daily exercise will support leash skills as well as socialization skills. It will be a new world to him with all the new sights, smells, sounds, and people along his walk. He may also enjoy going for hikes. A secure back yard will give him freedom to play and burn off extra energy. Milo will benefit from mental stimulation in the form of activities and play toys. It will help prevent boredom.
