To apply to adopt this dog now, complete our adoption application HERE To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see HERE Age: ~12 years (as of 12/20/24) Weight 50 lbs (as of 1/23/25) This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Meet Buddy, a senior canine companion with a gentle and mellow demeanor. Despite his timidity, Buddy has a heart full of love to give. He was living with an adult woman, a cat, and two small dogs and thus we don’t yet know how he is with men and children. He was mainly an outside dog living in a kennel and now, in his current foster home, Buddy is learning to enjoy life inside where he is well behaved, and house trained. His quiet nature makes him the perfect addition to a peaceful home, where he can enjoy the simple pleasures of life. Buddy's soul is as gentle as a summer's breeze, never demanding, but always appreciating the smallest gestures of affection. He's a bit shy at first, but give him time and he'll warm up, showing you the depth of his loyalty. Despite his age, Buddy is full of life, ready to make every moment count. His tranquil presence can bring a soothing rhythm to your daily routine. He's a testament to the saying, 'Old is gold.' Buddy's adoption could mean a second chance at life for him, and a chance for you to gain an unwavering friend. Adopt Buddy, and let his gentle soul fill your home with love and serenity. An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
