Meet Harold, the adorable 4-month-old puppy who’s ready to find his forever family! This sweet little guy had a tough start, found all alone as a tiny stray in rural south Texas at just 5 weeks old. But despite his rough beginning, Harold has a heart full of love and a gentle, affectionate nature. He’s already shown he’s a friend to all, including kitty companions, and his super-sweet personality makes him a perfect addition to any family. Currently weighing in at only 19.6 lbs, Harold’s breed mix and adult size are anyone’s guess, but one thing’s for sure—he’s got a lifetime of love to give! is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. All breeds listed are educated best estimates by transferring shelter staff, our volunteers or our vets. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them the All American MUTT. Our dogs are rescued from various situations (kill-shelters, owner surrenders, strays, etc). It is most likely that both their parents were strays and mixes of some sort.If you are interested in this dog, you MUST submit an application. Sandy Paws Rescue does not a have a public shelter in Mass, so there is no building you can visit without an appointment. Our dogs live in private foster homes or boarding kennels down south until adopted, and foster care homes through out MV, Cape Cod and other parts of MA.
