To apply to adopt this dog now, complete our adoption application HERE To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see HERE Age: 3.5 years old Weight: 9.5 lbs. This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Meet Sammie Mae Claxton! She is a fun little Pomeranian, we think about 3.5 years old. She and her sister JoJo are searching for their forever homes, which could be together or separate. They've lived both ways and adapted well to different environments, getting along well with adults, kids, dogs and cats. So far, they seem to be playful and friendly with everyone they meet! Sammie Mae is a pretty easygoing and even-tempered dog. She's calm on car rides and would be happy to tag along on an adventure with you, especially if it involves a pup playgroup! She's happy to chew on her squeaky toys, play tug-o-war, or just chill and cuddle for a while. At just over 9 pounds, Sammie Mae is the perfect lap dog! She loves to jump up on the furniture, but if that's not your thing, Sammie is a very smart girl, so we're confident that with a little time focused on training, she can work on this in no time. She's also doing a great job with her house training and crate training. Ready to bring Sammie Mae home? (and maybe JoJo too?) Fill out an application today! An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website: www.sosarl.org/aa/ **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
