Meet Metro NYC
**MEET ME AT OUR 12/14 ADOPTION EVENT IN QUINCY!**Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: YesGood with kids: YesCrate trained: YesHouse Trained: MostlyThis handsome mate is Metro, and he would be the perfect addition to almost any family. His sweet nature is a fabulous fit for all ages, and his love of hugs is sure to melt any heart. With a silky black and brindle coat and ears that feel like velvet, he is the snuggliest companion to curl up with. He plays harmoniously with his humans or quietly by himself with his toys. He loves a good game of rope toss, and he had this hilarious routine where he’ll get bored of a toy, march it back to the toy box, and then rummage around for a new one, as if he was on a never-ending quest for the perfect plaything. He is also slightly obsessed with stuffed animals. Metro is mellow for a youngster, but he does fancy a good game of wrestling or chase with his fellow fosters and fur friends if they accept his invitation. Always cordial and polite with other dogs, cats, and kids, he’d make a great companion pup. He may do best in a lower-traffic neighborhood, as the hustle and bustle of the city can make him nervous.Metro is very intelligent, eager to learn his next command, and remains focused. He is treat-motivated, which makes learning fun and fruitful. Speaking of fruit, Metro will work for fresh fruits and vegetables that are safe for dogs - apples, pears, green beans, and cucumbers. Watermelon is his favorite. He’s mastered "sit", “down” and will offer his paw when asked for a "shake". Metro is fully crate trained and willingly takes his naps and overnight sleeps there without issue or accidents. While he's typically quiet, he will give a bark if he needs to go outside. An easy bather, he sits still for baths and allows his human to use a blow dryer to dry him. This inquisitive and affectionate boy is ready to hug it out with his new family! Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted.
