To apply to adopt this dog now, complete our adoption application        HERE To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see        HERE Age: 7 years (as of 7/27/23) Weight: 10 lbs (as of 12/13/23) Location: RI    This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Piper Schnauz is a sweet and happy purebred Miniature Schnauzer who deserves to be cherished forever. She is about 7 1/2 years-old, and was recently surrendered by a breeder, along with many other small dogs who all have papers and are currently available for adoption.  Piper is the sort of dog who will truly touch your heart, because she is so sweet and gentle, and she just wants to be loved. She is currently in foster with another small dog and cat and doing well.  She has just begun house training and is making progress with puppy pads. She is crate trained and walk well on the leash. She is mild-mannered and eager to please, and we believe that she will easily integrate into a forever home. As a kenneled dog, she has not interacted with many people or other animals yet, but so far, she has been reliably friendly and gentle towards everyone who has spent time with her. Piper would love to cuddle for hours on someone's lap, and she is going to be a delightful and kind companion to anyone who is lucky enough to bring her home! Medical Note: Piper has some dental issues, which are currently being addressed. Please check with your vet if you should have any questions about this condition and discuss any concerns you may have with your SOS Adoption Counselor. An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see      HERE      for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website:    www.sosarl.org/aa/ *  *Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
